Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) training offers you the skills and experience you need to get a well-paying job after graduation. Six weeks is all it takes to get a CDL license fully endorsed. Learn on the road as you build confidence and gain understanding of the trucking industry and the requirements of safe truck driving.
Classes take place at COD's Addison campus. Assistance is available for Spanish-speaking students.
The trucking industry continues to see a demand for licensed CDL drivers. Employment opportunities for truck drivers has expanded to include recent graduates with little to no experience. Recruiters from reputable companies are available during class to discuss their employment benefits and open opportunities. Job placement assistance is provided both during the program and after licensing.
Whether you are looking for local, regional, intermodal or just want to hit the open road, the CDL program can help get you there.
