Nursing and Health Science Students

If you're interested in a field in health care, you know that you need to study in a state-of-the-art facility and receive a variety of hands-on training in and out of the classroom. Many of our instructors have years of experience in their field of study.

Career placement is high in the Nursing and Health Sciences Division. Our health career programs are in demand and highly competitive. Many of our graduates go on to work locally and give back to the community. 

Start the Admissions Process

The best way to learn about everything that the Nursing and Health Sciences Division has to offer is to follow the steps below.

Your program's admission or registration packet can be found on the Health Career Programs and Information Packet webpage.

Please complete all necessary prerequisites prior to applying (if applicable) or registering for a Nursing and Health Sciences Division program.

Create your profile and complete your undergraduate application prior to applying for a Nursing and Health Sciences Division program.

Once you submit your application, we will create your COD Username and send it to your personal email. An email titled "COD Student Portal Username" will contain your COD Username and information on setting up your password and accessing your student email account.

Each advising session  will provide details of your program(s) and its admission or registration requirements.

Submit transcripts and official test scores (or other supplemental items that are required) to COD. Include high school and/or college transcripts, ACT, SAT, AP or CLEP scores. 

Verify receipt of your transcript(s) by logging into your InsideCOD Student Portal, click on "myACCESS" and select "Academic Profile." The receipt status of your transcript will be listed under "My Profile."

Note: If you have an international transcript from high school or college, it must first be evaluated by an international transcript evaluation company.
