College of DuPage student Viviana Fuentes is honored as the recipient of the Honors Program Transfer Scholarship to Elmhurst University during the 2024 Celebration of Academic Excellence.
Fuentes will receive a full-tuition scholarship awarded annually to a COD honors student. In addition, Honors Program Transfer Scholarship recipients receiving full-tuition awards are Emily Kesler, DePaul University, and Rachel Martin, North Central College. Receiving a generous Honors Transfer Scholarship to Aurora University is Lourdez Ardila.
The annual COD event celebrated the academic achievements of more than 150 students, including Honor Scholars, outstanding graduates, academic excellence by discipline recipients, STEM Student Success Scholarship completers, and various scholarship awardees. Families and friends celebrated with the honorees during the ceremony and reception, held on campus in Glen Ellyn.
