Michelle MooreCOD English Professor Michelle Moore, Ph.D., is the author of "Chicago and the Making of American Modernism" (Bloomsbury Academic 2019, Paperback 2021), Coeditor of "Refocus: The Films of Paul Schrader" (Edinburgh University Press, 2020, Paperback 2022) Coeditor of "Refocus: The Films of John Waters" (Edinburgh University Press, 2023, Paperback 2024) and has published academic chapters and articles on Modernism, Literature and Film.

Moore has presented at more than 30 conferences and given invited talks for the Chicago Literary Hall of Fame, Hemingway Society, Hemingway Society of Oak Park, Oak Park Public Library and COD's Global Flicks Film Festival.
 

Her work is based in the archive and she loves to talk about archival research, copyright and fun things found in the archive.
