The first is an activity focused on counting and is most suitable for elementary age students and older. The second is a more in-depth discussion of mathematical approaches to addressing the social issue of gerrymandering. Simulation modeling research at the University of Illinois will be highlighted. This activity will be most suitable to middle and high school students and adults interested in math and/or computer coding. When you are finished, print your own certificate of completion!
