Writing Studies Transfer Agreements

Specialized transfer agreements save you time and money. DePaul University, Elmhurst University, and University of Arkansas at Little Rock (online) have agreed to accept Writing Studies courses to for their 100-, 200-, and in some cases, 300-level courses for their Bachelors of Arts programs. You can complete at least half of your Bachelor of Arts degree in Writing Studies at COD for the COD price.

DePaul University

You can transfer your coursework from your Associate in Arts degree, plus Technical Writing, Digital Writing, Writing in the Professions, Editing in the Professions, Argumentative Writing and Advanced Composition to DePaul University’s Bachelor of Arts in Writing, Rhetoric and Discourse. Writing Center Theory and Practice, Writing in the Community, and Writing for Publication will also transfer as elective credit. 

Elmhurst University

You can transfer your coursework from your Associate in Arts degree, plus Advanced Composition, Writing in the Professions and one additional Writing Studies course to Elmhurst University’s Bachelor of Arts in English—Writing Track

University of Arkansas at Little Rock (Online)

You can transfer your coursework from your Associate in Arts degree, plus the Professional Writing Certificate, plus an additional two Writing Studies courses to University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s Bachelor of Arts in Professional and Technical Writing. This program is fully online, so you can remain in the DuPage area to complete your coursework.
