College of DuPage and North Park University have joined into a Guaranteed Admission Agreement designed to help COD students complete their bachelor’s degree at North Park in a variety of academic disciplines.
“We have worked with North Park University to create specific tracks in many competitive fields to give our students a clear course of study with a great deal of academic support along the way,” said COD President Dr. Brian Caputo. “Under the agreements, COD students can start planning their transition to North Park as early as their first semester by following an academic transfer plan designed to ensure a smooth process.”
Students are eligible to transfer into 24 traditional undergraduate degree programs or five accelerated undergraduate degree programs sponsored through North Park’s School of Professional Studies. Students also are eligible for various scholarship opportunities based on academic performance while enrolled as a COD student.
Lori Scrementi, North Park University School of Professional Studies Dean, said that the new agreement allows North Park to work collaboratively with COD before students even transfer to their institution.
“We hope to create a community of learning for all, not only with fellow students but with faculty and staff to build a strong, supportive network before, during, and after their time at North Park University,” she said.
