Automation Apprentice, Batavia

Project Hire-Ed is partnering with a local production assembly company to hire an automation apprentice.

Who We Are

We are the market leader in the manufacture of plastic injection and blow molded home and garden items, which are sold by large retailers worldwide. To keep pace with our continued growth and expansion, we’ve established an apprenticeship program to train and develop our future technicians in all manufacturing areas, such as Equipment Maintenance, Automation, Setup and Process.  No experience is required to take advantage of this opportunity. 

You Are

  • A high school graduate or equivalent
  • A self-starter who is well organized
  • Someone who has good mechanical aptitude, enjoys working with your hands and is comfortable working with tools and machinery.
  • Interested in identifying and solving problems and learning new things.
  • Able to communicate well with others.
  • Interested in a challenging and rewarding career in manufacturing
  • Willing and able to attend school to learn specialized skills and complete an apprenticeship certificate program.

We Will

  • Provide full-time employment starting at $15.00/hour, with scheduled pay increases when you complete each phase of your apprenticeship.
  • Pay your tuition, books and fees at one of several local community colleges for the duration of the program, when you enroll in their Industrial Maintenance apprenticeship programs.
  • Give you hands-on, on-the-job training, development and mentoring in your area of interest

  • Provide a flexible schedule while you complete your classroom training.
  • Help you establish a challenging, rewarding lifetime career in manufacturing

You Will
