Northeast DuPage Special Recreation Association (NEDSRA)

Northeast DuPage Special Recreation Association (NEDSRA) improves the quality of life for thousands of people with disabilities each year, by providing them with a variety of recreational and social programs. The programs are offered in partnership with eight park districts and three village recreation departments.

Monday-Friday - Daytime hours (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.), Evening hours (5 to 9 p.m.), Weekends - Daytime (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.), Evenings (4 to 9 p.m.)

Description of Service Learner Role

Service learners will work under the supervision of a program leader providing assistance to individuals with disabilities in a variety of recreation programming for youth and adults.

Organization Requirements

Complete application online and go through a basic volunteer training.

Number of Placements Available

Open availability dependent on service learner requirements.
