Programs
Central Sterile Processing Distribution Technician Certificate
Central Sterile Processing Distribution Technicians are responsible for performing and participating in the decontamination, cleaning, sterilization, assembling, packaging, scanning, storage and distribution or reusable surgical instrumentation and equipment.
- Two-semester commitment required to earn 12 college credits
- Practicum in a medical facility during second semester
- Includes ELA support course
- Upon completion graduates will have credentials to work in a hospital or medical facility
Office Technology Specialist Certificate
This certificate prepares students for an entry-level administrative support position while earning college credit:
- MS Office for Professional Staff
- Email and Electronic Communication
- Word Processing I
- Advanced Word Processing/Desktop Publishing
- Data Analysis with Spreadsheets
CompTIA A+/Network+ PC Technician Certificate
This certificate provides a broad exposure to computer systems as well as system networking and prepares for CompTIA A+ and Network+ technician exams.

Entrepreneurship Certificate
Prepare to start your own business. Students will learn the essentials of starting a business, develop a business and marketing plan, and identify potential funding options. Free membership to Innovation DuPage upon completion of program.
HSE Students
Your first step is to take the TABE test. See our testing center locations and hours. Allow two hours and 30 minutes for the test and bring your test results to the College of DuPage Adult Education Office in the Student Resource Center (SRC), Room 1110. The office is open Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
ELA Students
Your first step is to take the CASAS test. See our testing locations and hours. Call our office to make an appointment at (630) 942-3697. Allow three hours for the test and bring a copy of your test results to the Adult Education office in the Student Resource Center (SRC) Room 1110.
