Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Program

In today's workplace it is important to embrace a culture of inclusion. This carefully designed program is intended to meet each individual where they are in their journey towards Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging. Identify your unique talents and those of your colleagues as you learn to become more open and inclusive to build understanding. This program focuses on employee competencies to promote awareness, build courage, identify emotional intelligences, encourage curiosity, and help participants develop action plans to support commitment towards a more inclusive organization.

DEIB Topics

Participants will explore the concept of unconscious bias and how they can minimize its effect in the workplace and in customer/client relations. Each participant will learn how their unique identities shape their experiences and impact their day-to-day interactions with others. Participants will also learn strategies for minimizing the effects of unconscious bias, which take the form of verbal, nonverbal and environmental micro-messages.

Length of course: 3 1/2 hours or customize for your organization.

Participants will understand what an inclusive workplace looks like and the benefits it creates. Recognize how emotional intelligence influences leaders in their ability to lead an inclusive workforce. Establish a framework that can increase inclusion at the organizational level.

Length of course: Two 3-hour sessions

Participants will learn how subtle inequities can create a culture of devaluing and dividing others. Recognize how cultural competence influences what we do and how we react to others. Learn ways to manage sensitive conversations and focus on respectful interactions.

Length of course: 3 1/2 hours or customize for your organization.

Participants will identify the challenges that women face as they pursue leadership positions. This course looks at the challenges women face and how they can maximize their strengths and build their skills to become effective leaders in any organization.
