Office of Student Life COVID-19 Update
During this difficult time, the Office of Student Life is operating remotely to serve you. If you're interested in any of our services, events, or programs please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or leave a message at (630) 942-2642 and one of our staff members will respond.
As a College of DuPage student, you are a member our campus community. The Office of Student Life provides a supportive, values-based environment that helps students get the most out of their College of DuPage experience as well as prepares them to be active leaders in a complex and ever-changing society. Our Student Life staff coordinates New Student Orientation, the Living Leadership Program, the Edge Program, the Food Security Initiative including the Fuel Pantry and Fuel Garden, Campus Events for Students, and over 100 clubs and organizations.
So take a look at what we have to offer and get ready for an experience you won't forget!
College of DuPage has teamed up with Pace to help students connect with other students who are interested in carpooling to campus. Interested students should register with PaceRideShare and choose College of DuPage as their "employer."
Pace provides bus transportation to and from campus on weekdays. The Office of Student Life no longer sell Pace Bus cards. Please go to the Ventra Chicago website to find out how and where you can purchase your bus card.
Discount tickets for area movie theaters and Six Flags Great America are offered for sale to the college community. In addition, tickets for student club and organization events are available periodically through the Office of Student Life.
There are many national businesses that offer discounts to college students.
To promote the free exchange of ideas, College of DuPage permits students, employees, and community members to distribute printed materials and to solicit signatures on campus subject to the restrictions of time, place, and manner contained in the guidelines. View the Distribution of Printed Materials Guidelines and Application.
College of DuPage provides access to housing information as a courtesy to our students. The College claims no responsibility for the content, reliability and activities of this linked, third-party website.
Many Student Lounges are located through the campus buildings. They give students a variety of places to gather, study and socialize.
The Student Life Lounge in SSC 1200 is the home of Alter Ego Productions, the student group that brings entertainment to campus. The Student Life Lounge also contains billiards tables, ping pong, and video game monitors (bring your own system) to provide many options for students to interact with each other. The Student Life Lounge is open Mondays to Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., on days when classes are in session.
*summer hours Monday through Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Students enrolled in at least one credit hour at College of DuPage can obtain a Student ID card. ID cards are available in the Office of Student Life, Student Service Center (SSC), Room 1217, during regular business hours when classes are in session* Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Students must be enrolled in the following semester to get a new ID in the last two weeks of a term. Student ID cards are valid for three years and free for first-time ID or expired ID holders. There is a $5 charge for non-expired replacement IDs.
The college's photo IDs are both convenient and versatile—the same card can be used at the library, as a P.E. pass and as "student identification" for various local discounts at movies, sports events and other activities. For more information, call Student Life at (630) 942-2243.
