Home-School Students
Home-school students bring unique perspectives and skills to community colleges, enriching the campus community and academic environment. COD can help provide an accessible pathway for home-school students to continue their education, offering a variety of programs, support services, and opportunities for personal and academic growth.
College of DuPage offers a wide variety of options for families that are home educating their children:
- Youth Education and Continuing Education offer great opportunities to enrich the homeschool curriculum through many high school-level non-college credit classes that are offered. Classes are small and cater to the home-educated student.
- Dual Credit/Dual Enrollment program students can get started on their college degree while still in high school. College credits can enrich your homeschool curriculum and are often transferable to other post-secondary institutions.
