Visa Tuition Appeal

The COD Catalog requires students whose permanent residence is outside the United States and who plan to attend College of DuPage while on a student visa, other visa, or visa waiver program to pay the international student tuition rate.

Students who wish to appeal their tuition residency classification based on their visa status or special circumstances, may do so by following the process outlined below:

• Complete the Visa/Residency Tuition Appeal form.
• Be prepared to provide additional information or documentation as needed to explain your case.

Tuition appeals will be reviewed by committee and may take up to 4 weeks to process. Decisions will be communicated by email. If your Visa Tuition Appeal is approved, your account will be credited. All documentation received remains confidential.

Deadlines

Applications must be submitted by the deadlines listed below. Only appeals submitted for the current term of enrollment will be reviewed.

• Fall Semester: Sept. 25
• Spring Semester: Feb. 28
• Summer Semester: June 30
