Celebration of Academic Excellence Awards

The 2025-2026 Celebration of Academic Excellence recognizes student achievements such as Honors Scholars and graduating Honors Scholar Candidates, STEM Scholarship completers, Academic Excellence students selected by academic discipline and college area, recipients of the Honors Program Transfer Scholarships, and Outstanding Graduates.

Awards

Honors Scholars are graduating students who have (or will complete) at least 15 credit hours in Honors courses by graduation. These graduating students maintained a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.2/4.0 and will receive the Honors Scholar designation on their transcripts. They are given a medal and gold cord to wear at Commencement.
