Learn skills in active violence preparedness through courses offered in June by the
College of DuPage Police Department. The course is free and open to the public. Registration
is required.
“Active Violence Preparedness Phase II,” presented from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Friday, June
5, in the Homeland Security and Education Center (HEC) Room 1005/1009 on the Glen
Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd., emphasizes strategies for developing an awareness
of your surroundings and the fundamentals of informed decision-making in threatening
situations.
