Culinary Market at Wheat Café

The Culinary Market at Wheat Café features baked goods, soups, salads, sides, sandwiches, burgers, pizzas and other items created by students in the Culinary program. Located in the Culinary and Hospitality Center, the market allows students and community members to order online between 8 and 10:30 a.m. on market days. Orders can be picked up between 11 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Guests can take lunch to go or dine in at the café. All products are made from scratch on-site.

Fifteen-minute parking is available outside the Culinary and Hospitality Center.

The market will be opening on Tuesday, Oct. 6 for the fall semester. Market days will be select Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from Oct. 6 to Nov. 24

Soup

Classic Vegetable Soup: $5.00
(Garden vegetables with tomato. Served with garlic bread. Leave off the bread for a vegan soup.)

Salads

Chopped Salad: $8.00
(Romaine and iceberg lettuces with ditalini pasta, red cabbage, green onion and tomato topped with gorgonzola and bacon. Served with a creamy balsamic dressing. Add chicken for $1.00.)

Hot Items

Penne with Vodka Sauce and Sausage: $7.00
(Pasta with tomato vodka sauce served with sausage and a side of garlic bread.)

Pesto Chicken Flatbread: $7.00
(Pesto pizza with chicken, roasted red peppers, arugula and mozzarella cheese. Drizzled with balsamic vinegar.)

Double Smash Burger: $8.00
(Two 3-ounce ground beef patties with house mayo, shredded lettuce, tomato, pickle and choice of American or Pepperjack cheese. Add bacon for $1.00. Served with a side of fries.)

Crispy Chicken Sandwich: $8.00
(Crispy chicken topped with arugula, pickled red onion, and lemon mayo. Served with a side of potato chips.)

Bakery

Almond Croissant Bar: $3.00
(Bar filled with almond paste and topped with toasted sliced almonds.)

Orange and Bittersweet Chocolate Scone: $2.00
(Flaky scone flavored with orange zest and full of dark chocolate chunks.)
