DuPage Regional Manufacturing Advisory Council

Advisory councils are a common best practice and an invaluable, unified source of industry and academic expertise serving to advance programming and meet a region’s workforce standards. The DuPage Regional Manufacturing Advisory Council (“Dr. Mac”) discusses current and future needs of businesses and academic programs. Information gathered is used to ensure the most up-to-date curriculum content, appropriate applications of technology, and the implementation of new teaching strategies.

Participation provides the ability to both inform and be informed about current and future occupational skills, alignment opportunities, equipment standards, and legislative advocacy needs. The Dr. Mac Steering Committee invites members of the education community and manufacturing industry to join the conversation.
