Advisory councils are a common best practice and an invaluable, unified source of industry and academic expertise serving to advance programming and meet a region’s workforce standards. The DuPage Regional Manufacturing Advisory Council (“Dr. Mac”) discusses current and future needs of businesses and academic programs. Information gathered is used to ensure the most up-to-date curriculum content, appropriate applications of technology, and the implementation of new teaching strategies.
